1. To understand and respect the developmental stages and ages of the children as well as their individual needs, and to develop corresponding educational programs to support these in order to foster the love of learning, inquiry skills, versatility, self-leadership and strength of character.
2. To nurture the whole child, with a care to each child’s unique learning style and abilities in order to enhance the development of unique talents and personal expressions.
3. To provide clear examples and grids to assist the children in building their own knowledge and value systems, enhancing self-confidence, self-awareness and acuteness when approaching life situations.
4. To offer integrated programs that encourage a harmony of qualities and academics in an environment that is supportive and caring to maximize freedom of expression and openness to learning in the children whilst offering better opportunity and support the child’s family and community.
5. To encourage children to champion their family cultural heritage, national natural and native history, and global responsibilities, developing awareness and values regarding the Canadian identity and its international interface.
6. To cooperate with and to provide continuous, consistent and clear leadership to the children, to the parents, and other educators within the teaching team, and to uphold the qualities necessary to do so in oneself.
7. To continue to strive to develop within the new framework for education and to maintain this visionary model of education, responding to the need to update educational practices for current and future generations of children with optimal enthusiasm and freshness as an education team.
